What you can do is you can ask the teacher to read it out in front of them personally, at the bare minimum I would do that and that is what I did at school however what I come to understand later on was that while anxiety isn’t the cause of stuttering it can definitely exacerbate it. What I want you to think about when you think about any sort of anxiety (fear) that you might have is imagine it as an inner beast that is inside of you and the only way to destroy these inner beasts is to attack them head on and then when you do, the feeling is unlike anything else. However, when you do not address the inner beats of anxiety they will only grow stronger and stronger. Same is true for people with social anxiety, stuttering or no stuttering, An example of allowing the inner beast to grow for stuttering is to allow people to speak for you, or order food for you, over time those little bits of somebody helping you out only subconsciously feeds into that inner beast. If you don’t feel up for reading in front of a class, in fact, if you have never read in front of anybody I would definitely start with reading to your teacher, while you can slowly feed the inner beast you can slowly crush it too, and little wins like reading in front of your teacher or a friend is so much more valuable then you realise. You can also try reading out loud to yourself as well. I hope this helps and this same rule can be applied onto all types of different anxieties, the only way out is to crush them, again and again until they no longer play a thought in your mind.
