In my experience, speech therapy is harder at a young age since most children don’t have a grasp of their own speech patterns its harder to let the therapist know specifically what they need & general procedures may not be enough. But stutters are different for everyone maybe it will benefit her! The real work will come when she’s older for sure. One key advice id recommend parents is don’t throw her at a bunch of different therapists expecting her stutter to be “cured” at an early age because all the attempts for improvement without results will only affect her confidence moving forward (speaking from experience) Id pair her with one therapist for as long as she’s willing to do it. Speech therapy is most effective when the participant does it out of their own free will
