Digital versus IRL Frequent lurker, first time poster. I'm 32 and like many of the folks here, have been stuttering for as long as I can remember. About a year ago I started sim racing on /r/iRacing and purchased a mic to chat while racing. Quickly I noticed I had no disruptions in speech while talking to people online. As I got better at iRacing a lot of guys record their videos, live commentate and upload to YouTube so I decided to do the same. Again, I record with a hot mic and after 15 videos, I have never had a video capture one stutter. Is it a confidence thing? Am I so hyper-focused on the task at hand and not worried whether I'm going to stutter or not? Help me understand this anomaly!
