Actually, yeah. I feel physical pain because of my stutter. My throat burns a lot or it dries up real quick when I’m having a bad stutter moment. Heavy ones make my jaws and throat hurt really bad. I feel physically exhausted a lot because my stutter drains the energy out of me. When I have those stutter moments where I literally can’t stop talking(Like, deadass literally I hope someone else understands), I see myself breathing heavily for energy because it took the breath out of me. This isn’t physical pain, but I catch myself drooling when I’m having a bad stuttering moment. I feel these little spasms in my jaw and neck when I’m stuttering, and sometimes when I try to force the word out when I’m blocking, my chest starts to hurt. My jaw feels numb after I stutter.
