Fair enough. I don't believe all SLPs would deceive stutters just to keep their business. But I'm very confused as to why in the 25+ years I've lived with my stutter, not one speech pathologist I met mentioned medication options for stutterers. I'm far from having it all figured out, but thank you for your reply anyway.
