Yea I feel the same way and I have a moderate (sometimes more than moderate) stutter. The worst is when masking/hiding your stutter becomes the centerpiece of your life. Mind you: With the techniques I use (substituting harder words or easier ones, using uh, um, etc before sentences) I can give the illusion of fluency but it takes a toll on my psyche. It's just a shame we've been cursed with this disability. It really holds me back in life. I want to do things like visit foreign countries and learn things like Spanish or sell things through the phone as a job but then the stutter just holds me back from even trying. We're in 2015 and there's not even a single cure or treatment. WTF?
