I agree but as a parent you really do everything that you can for your child. My son left martial arts after he got black belt because he didn’t particularly enjoy it. The journey to black belt takes commitment and is very expensive. However, it totally shaped my child’s personality. He built confident, grit, and most importantly to stand up for himself. My son realized in middle school that he can’t control others’ behavior. He was well equipped to deal with those nasty kids. Having said that, my son is equally good in arts. So try different things but again sports is something that accepts you based on your talents and skills.
