Thanks for the reply. I've been practicing mantra meditation for about a decade now and I'm always interested in hearinig about other people's experiences. For me, I've made strides with anxiety and reducing avoidance behaviors in the past couple years by attending an intensive therapy program (AIS in NYC) and self therapy. I think meditation has impacted my life in a positive way... I'm less anxious, fearful and stressed about my speech than any time previously in my life. Coming to terms and identifying as a stutterer as opposed to being covert was a big step.
