If it makes you feel any better I used to have anxiety so bad when I was in school and had to speak in front of the class...I'd shake so bad and my voice would break (I'm a girl so it wasn't puberty). Now (a decade later) I can speak in front of any group of people confidently and naturally. I look forward to public speaking instead of dreading it. Practice and pushing through all the cringey uncomfortable times are what have made me a better public speaker than most people. If you walk away and start letting your challenges control your life then you will stagnate or get even worse. You have to force yourself past it.
