I fell into a bad habit of knowing that if I just stayed agreeable, my nervous system would not get aggravated and then the stutter wouldn’t come about. In my 40's now and dealing with a life (you don't feel whole when you do that shit) that was predicated around that and have been on a mission to find my assertiveness. Weird habit to break. Agree with the meditation and keeping your ego out of it. I've been listening to When I say no I feel guilty. very repetitive but gives you a good framework. Give it a try if you struggle. Charge on and create!
