I am sure I had over $100,000 worth of useless therapy in the Chicago Public Schools, the University of Illinois and Northwestern University. Not only was it useless, it was harmful. They told me I stuttered because I wanted attention and I should grow up. It was terrible. All stuttering therapy does is give speech therapists a job and money for doing nothing.
