I hate to be negative, but there is a chance that the kid might never get over the stutter. As such, be patient with her, let her talk, don't tell her to repeat her sentences, or "talk slowly" or "breath first and then talk", none of that shit works. Just let her be, instill confidence in her that she still has a voice and that she can and must use it. Never discourage her for stuttering. Don't complete her sentences. Avoid making a face when she stutters heavily. Politely look away if she has a big block, but always listen to her and respond normally, and not in a special way or something. Don't make the stutter a new member of the house. It doesn't exist. Well, that's my advise moving forward and I do hope she benefits from the therapy and recovers.
