it's a gathering of over 800 people who stutter, their families, SLPs, and anyone else who cares about stuttering. For many people it's the only place where they can finally feel free and comfortable. it's kind of funny when the fluent people seem like the minority at the hotel. It's a great experience and one I can't really recommend enough. Even if you only go once. There are workshops in the mornings/afternoons and activities at night (thought most people just hang around the lobby/bar and just talk/meet. if you're worried about not knowing anyone (like most first goers are), dont worry. you'll have to work pretty hard not to meet people.
