I'm planning to conduct an informal experiment to see how cannabis use affects a stutter in controlled amounts. Suggestions? I got this idea by looking at videos on how people with Parkinson's and ongoing seizures can stabilize and keep their conditions in check by taking a dose of medical marijuana oil each day. I tried to see if there was any research done specific to stuttering and cannabis use, but most of it is anecdotal. So I want to actually use the scientific method of experimenting to see if I can uncover any possible interactions with cannabis use and stuttering, be it positive or negative. This is going to start off as informal and see where the results lead me. The first testee is going to be myself, a lifelong stutterer. I want to start off with 3 low doses (not strong enough to give me a high, but enough to have some sort of effect on my body and mind), and reading a couple of pages out of a novel sober and under each of the three doses, with someone recording me for facial ticks and keeping track of my fluency. My question is what mg of doses can I start off with and how should I administer them (smoking, edible, vapor, pill, etc)? If anyone is interested in contributing to this experiment (preferably non m-frequent cannabis users), let me know.
