I'm not a parent but I worry about the reading thing too. I actually cried about it often when I was younger thinking I could never be a good mother because of it. I feel very differently now. I hope you don't mind me asking, but do you want to be a wife and mother because you believe that's the only option available to you? If you do really want that life then that's great! I am also a woman and I understand that being a home maker is a career decision. However, it's not the only career that you can do. You can do anything if you put your mind to it!
