Hey I'm sorry you're going through this, that's a horrible feeling and I think the store is stupid for missing the opportunity to hire you. I hate to recommend this because I'm really not sure it's medically sensible, but... a friend of mine tried Xanax for job interviews and found it really helped. For him, a moderate dose was enough to reduce his stutter during the interview without slowing him down mentally. You have to be careful though, because Xanax is very addictive and it's really damaging once you are addicted. If you decide to investigate it, promise yourself it's only for job interviews and then stick to that like glue.
