Honestly, unless it's actually influencing his work negatively, I wouldn't say anything quite yet. If you see him get frustrated or withdraw... or he approaches you about it, then ok. As a leader, I think if you make it a safe place for him to stutter without fear, that's the best you can do. Good luck to you!
