I love the 1,2,3 technique - I’ll have to try that. My best friend once told me, “you make stuttering look cool”. One of the sweetest compliments I’ve ever had. Most people are respectful. It’s like when I see a person in a wheelchair, there is an automatic respect and empathetic attitude. I’m 3 years older than you - nice to see a fellow stutterer close to my age. I have to say, one of the coolest day I had was when I hing out with 12 other folks who stuttered. I attended a world stuttering convention in Atlanta, GA. The instant bond that occurs when a group of stutters get together is….incredible. The laughter - oh my God, we fucking laughed so much. It’s interesting to see the different personalities within a group of stutterers. I highly recommend it.
