I PROMISE you, people are not thinking “he has a stutter, remember not to talk with him”. No rational person thinks this and even if they do, they are never a person you want to be talking with in the first place. You are sounding a lot like an incel, and that scares me. That mindset is literally what holds them back from having a girlfriend, not their looks or anything about them. It is 100% their personality. I think you should take a hard look in the mirror and evaluate what do you bring to the table in a friendship or relationship. Do you have fun hobbies, do you like trying new things, is it fun to spend time with you, are you funny, etc. Don’t get it twisted, having a stutter WILL negatively affect some of these things. But if you let the stutter completely control you and stop you from being the best person you can be, then that’s it and you’ve lost. I’m begging you, please try more. I know it’s humiliating and embarrassing, but it’s the only way. It sucks yeah, but there literally isn’t another way forward.
