I tend to improve a lot when I get into a “character”. If I’m reading a funny post, or a story to kiddos, or even a passage of dialogue with multiple speakers, I adopt the mentality of the person whose words I’m reading, and change my voice to how I imagine theirs. This surprisingly helps a lot when on a work phone call or in an interview, etc, too. Instead of just being me, I adopt interview-me’s way of speaking, and I stutter a lot less, as long as I stay in character
