Sure normal people speak without anticipating stuttering. Waiting out a stutter/block for it to hopefully “go away” is not an applicable technique in a normal social setting. What if the next word is a feared word or syllable like a “T-sound”? Waiting and/or thinking of the word is not going to generate a relaxed manner of speaking to speak it fluently. If anything the longer of gap of not speaking the word the more social tension will develop thus making it even harder to speak in a relaxed normal person manner. I question if you even stutter?
