This was a fantasic reply, you gave all of us more useful information then I ever thought anyone would. I noticed you said that you are a fellow Brother In Iron haha, I'm glad you got into lifting, I've noticed as well that improving my body image can also improve my self/ stuttering image as well. I fell into the trap long ago of thinking I was so hindered by my speech that what point was it to do anything, even work out. That's definitively not true at all. Like you, I'm also currently doing reading aloud and meditation (not guided) because I feel as if, if I could let go of the thoughts and feelings of fear I could, perhaps not be fluent, but at least stutter easily and that alone would be worth the effort. Thank you for that post, I do have a voice, we all have a voice.
