I was at a cool, really hip secondhand store. The clerk was very happy to see me and "ooh hello hello! How Nice of you to be here today! welcome! did you find anything at your liking? I hope you did!" I wasnt prepared for such a jolly greeting so i got caught off guard and I just stood there like "uhm ye-y-y-y blank stare pause* ye-y-y-yeee" jaw got locked and i couldnt get anything out, just stood there with my mouth open and she goes rapidly speaking without pauses. "Well? What are you waiting for? Out with it! I want you to say anything! something! Talk to me! Hello? Speak to me. Get it out now and you tell me what you found, i want you to talk to me, so just tell me! Now now now Come on lay it on me what did you find?!" semi-screaming at me in an excited manor. (she was on fire that day) So i take a deep breath and say." i-i-i ssssstutter so thats why i could respond Q-q-quick enough" She mentally literally in her mind did a backflip and died mid air and dies of shame and tells me "omg omg im so sorry, i feel so bad for what i just did im so sorry i didnt know, do you forgive me? Im dying. So sorry" "Sure you couldnt have known but yes i found some stuff" I remember it fondly. Same at a restaurant. When i couldnt get The world out the waitress asked my "do you stutter or something or why arent you telling me what you want?" (crappy day i guess) "yes i do actually stutter" "... Im so sorry... take your time, take a deep breath." Even tho i hate my stutter i always find these missunderstandments pretty funny.
