Trouble Speaking Hello, I would like to get some insight/suggestions on how to conquer my stuttering, I figure I start on Reddit. I've always been the talkative kind, especially in high school and had no issues talking to people but now in my adult years, I've become more nervous when speaking. I can write on paper but when it comes down to talking to people, I think about what I'm about to say and I tend to stutter to the point they lose their interest and don't take me seriously. At work, when I try to explain a situation, I get really nervous and lose my train of thought of the issue and it's embarrassing, I know what I'm talking about but it just won't come out. Usually happens when talking to the managers. What do you guys think?
