It's not something that I do intentionally. But I'd say I don't talk very loud in general. I also seem to pronunciate poorly... I've noticed that in some cases, like when I order some food at a restaurant the server won't understand what I said (even if I didn't stutter) and a friend would just automatically repeat what I said. This would imply that it actually takes some learning to understand me properly.
