I know for a fact that when I rolled out of bed 10 minutes before a Zoom call my stutter was noticeably more present compared to later in the day, all things being equal - the body, like any machine, needs time to warm up. Interestingly enough I've done my own informal experiments with weight lifting and how it impacts stuttering and the results consistently showed heavy compound lifts like deadlifts and squats - things that require your entire CNS to be engaged - the stutter is far, *far* more manageable. A light workout of yoga or maybe arms, shoulders, abs did not have the same effect. If you, whoever is reading this right now, are weary of the gym or heavy compound lifts then hire a personal trainer to show you proper technique, it's that simple. I don't know anything about my teeth, which is why I pay a dentist to lend their expertise, same rules apply. Get lifting, you don't need to be Atlas, you just need to be a little better than you were when you woke up :)
