Quite the opposite actually. When I first started at my current job I was pretty nervous since it required talking to a lot of different people throughout the day. Eventually I got over the fear of talking to so many people and just thought about controlling my stutter to the point where I could be more fluent around my customers. A lot of the people I worked with would drink a lot of energy drinks and as my hours grew longer I decided to try it myself. Coffee never did much to help keep me awake ironically enough as I used to work at a popular coffee shop (that's probably why). If I drank a whole can of Monster my stutter was barely noticeable. It's still the case today though as many of us know, what once worked to lessen our stuttering never works as well long term. So now days it is not as effective but still better than when o go without a Monster.
