Yes, I think we're on the same page, but getting there from different angles. There is a lot of mind-reading that goes on in the minds of people who stutter. And whether that gets interpreted as "[holding] the minds of other men" as a reference for our own thoughts, or a failure to recognize where reality actually begins -- the end result is the same -- the person is using a fantasy as a metric for his reality. So, how do we fix this?
