Sorry to hear about your situation. I'm not really good at these things but I will try to help you here. First of all, it is really important that you don't let the stutter take control of you. That's the one and only thing I learned from my speech therapist some years ago. Don't let it stop you from talking to people. In fact don't let it stop you from doing anything really. Your friend seems really nice and was waiting patiently for you to say something. To me, it seems like she doesn' t really care at all if you stutter or not. She enjoys talking and being with you because of who you are. People don't really care if we stutter. Even non-stutteres can do it from time to time especially when they are nervous about something. I'm also glad to hear about this girl you've just met. Good on you! Keep your chin up!
