I am going into my junior year, I will tell you, you wll probably do great your first couple of weeks, but things may or may not go sour at some point. whether it be social, academic or other pressures, just know that you will block and stutter and give an impression on people, but life goes on. I too have silent blocks, but I noticed things got really bad because I was holding back my true voice and suppressing my stutter, this is the wrong thing to do. I can't tel you a work around because frankly, I didn't really work around it, I did drugs, skipped class, sulked and had a pity party, these were all the wrong things to do, embrace yourself man, be happy with who you are. Find people who are patient and easy going or have some ailment of their own, these are the people who will be understanding and patient, these are the people who are 'cool' in my book, some people are not patient, some people will think you're retarded or something of the like, fuck em, you are who you are and they are who they are, nothing will change that except experience and life. Find a happy place, a stress reliever, make friends, have fun, but DO NOT...DO NOT dwell on the fact that you stutter and social interaction is an obstacle rather than an activity for you. Good luck my friend, I know I need it too.
