I did modeling and some acting. The whole experience always seemed surreal to me while in the moment so that really helped me to not stutter. I basically don’t stutter if I’m extremely confident almost manic. And situations where I was being interviewed (ex. I was a cosmopolitan magazine 69 bachelor also represented my country in Mister International) always seemed like an out of body experience for me almost as if I was watching myself; and I was fluent 98% of the time. The one time I had a massive block during an audition was when it wasn’t a traditional casting like at a studio but at their corporate headquarters in some side conference room. Everyone in the office could see in and they left me in there for 20 minutes to practice the 3 line script. Well once they sat down in font of me I just felt like I was trapped and blocked so hard and kept messing up the lines. Needless to say I didn’t get the job.
