No, actually the times where I'm most susceptible to being laughed at is where my stutter is very mild and people may just think I'm nervous. If it's bad there's usually no laughing there. I have basically no tolerance now for people who ask whether I'm nervous and I just immediately explain to them that I'm not nervous and that I have a speech problem. I've never had anyone laugh at me after I've explained that.
