Tomorrow is My First Day as A Substitute Teacher Hello everyone, I'm new to reddit, and lurked this thread for a few days. I had a speech impediment since I was four. I'm twenty one years old, and my stuttering fluctuated over the years. Although my social life hasn't been the best, I try to not use it as an excuse to be nonparticipative in collegiate activities or social circles. Anyways, I thought being a substitute teacher would provide great work experience in order to transfer to McCombs at UT. I would consider myself a level 1-2 stutterer. I already have a sub kit, and plan to visit each campus I'm working at. Is there any here with relatable experience in the teaching field? I would appreciate comments from others who had to use extensive verbal communication as well.
