I find this repulsive! The poor guy is saying something that helped improve his speech and he's getting attacked for it because he stated the thing that helped him? So if I write a post about how the DAF or SpeechEasy device helped me better my speech would I be looked at trying to "promote" those devices too? You know he did write something about some people helping him along the way and now I know why, this community is so toxic, all they want you to do is talk about the hardships of stuttering and how miserable everyone seems to be. God forbid if something talks about something that helped him. Also as someone who's been through all the major stuttering programs, Lee Lovetts is by far the only one who doesn't rip you off. SLP's, The McGuire Program, Michael Williams, etc charge thousands and thousands of dollars to really rip you off. Lee's program is so dirt cheap it's ridiculous. But like the guy said everything is met with skepticism and everything is too good to be true, so even though I find some of these comments repulsive, I can't get to angry because I understand. Let's just try to encourage others and not be so doom and gloom all the time. BTW I spent 2K on a SpeechEasy device and it doesn't help me at all. Worst purchase of my entire 45 year old life.
