On harder days I foucs on breathing. My method is medium inhale but then a very focused exhale. I do not start talking right away but wait a moment until the exhale is noticed by my brain :) On better days I focus on the topic of the conversation and generally keep myself busy. I tend to forget about the problem. And then I realize in the evening " hey, I did not stutter today"
