meh, every one is different. as long as your reaction comes from a place of respect its the right reaction. if you do happen to react in a way he doesnt like then it is on him to tell you and yall need to discuss the appropriate reaction(s). this is not "how to deal with a stutterer" advice, this is general advice for every aspect of every relationship. off topic: i (obviously) dont know you but >I have sort of a latent stutter myself on occasion, when I speak fast or am very tired or otherwise inhibited. is true for everyone who has not spent years trying to eliminate it (politicians or radio-hosts for example). just a little fun fact that once you know it you will start finding it everywhere.
