You have it all wrong. Have you ever thought as to why you stutter and a fluent person doesn’t. A fluent person is able to have easy and smooth breathing when speaking. A stutterer has interrupted and stressed breathing when speaking. I found that stuttering has to do with airflow and does not occur in your mouth. When someone who stutters talks with no airflow they do not stutter. When you add airflow then stuttering occurs. There is so much misinformation about stuttering. I am a speech pathologist so I have far more information regarding stuttering than the average person has. You should checkout Willam Parry’s book on the Valsalva methodology. This methodology helped me to become stutter free.
