I'd say go for the acting - but, big warning: it'll be hard. During my drama school training my stutter was severe, and I had a major lisp. When I came out of drama school I was what [Stamma call a ''covert stammerer''](https://stamma.org/about-stammering/covert-stammering). Over time, this became suttering but not drawing attention to it. I speak publicly very well now, still for sure stutter but I've learnt how to work with it and smooth out a lot of the anxiety surrounding speaking. Acting teaches you voice work and projection, breathing techniques and if you commit you can learn weird vocal misdirection like me, to the point when I tell people I have a stutter they hit back with ''I'd never have known if you hadn't said!'' even though I stutter in almost every sentence. I just do it much quicker now!
