While men are sometimes still expected to make the first move, these days women are perfectly capable of doing so as well. As far as confidence, I'm pretty sure it's tied in with personality -- what kind of personality do you have if you're not confident in any of those traits or how to use them? Also, I don't know what kind of guys you're hanging around with, but for long-term relationships, physical attractiveness isn't even comparable to confidence and a compatible personality. It's not that it was worded wrong -- your English is great. I'm just saying that it's not a correct assumption. I'm also vastly disappointed in the female stutterers you say agreed with the idea that it's "harder" for one sex than the other - I'd expect them to vouch for their struggles.
