I read books on my kindle. I've been reading the GoT books currently and plan on starting Metro 2033 (I also love video games and the book was turned into a video game in 2011). Personally reading hasn't helped improve my fluency, but it is a fun hobby of mine so I'm glad I picked it up a few years ago. Everyone is different so you should try it out! I would recommend reading out books aloud.
