I like akt of this. If I could add one word to this post it would be "Helping a client to **not** manage their stuttering is our job as an SLP." most of the ways people manage is around trying to control their stutter which usually makes it worse and works against acceptance. Maybe I'm being too semantic but I think a key part of therapy is helping the client unlearn all the avoidance stuff they've ingrained in themselves.
