Can you hear someone say a word in context that you know you would block on?

Can you hear someone say a word in context that you know you would block on? Sometimes when I'm watching a video or talking with someone, I hear a word spoken in a context. I can "feel" that if I said that word in that way or context, I would have a block. Does anyone else feel this?
