I work in software sales. Most of the people I work with are senior level CIO, CFO, Owners of the company. I remember my first sales job I was like "HELL NO", but out of college and needed the job. I learned a lot about myself because you are on the phone talking to strangers, meeting with people you are trying to impress. Pretty much everything I used to dread. This sounds corny, but it's true, the book psycho cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz helped me overcome my fears. My fear of being inadequate because my words got stuck sometimes. I had a comfort bubble that I needed to expand and the only way I was going to do that was getting comfortable doing uncomfortable things. I
