Im so so sorry that you had to go threw this. Alot of people don't know alot about stuttering so they might say that its from low confidence and being stressed. So they might say "just relax" or "think about what u r going to say then say" or laugh or smile and thats normal. Because they are not very educated about stuttering yeah it kinda sucks but you have to go threw it lol. My mom and dad used to say that but I told them bout my stuttering and told them what to not say to a person who stutter. I think if you do that its going to be ok. Im not talking about only telling ur dad tell your family immediate ones and other ones tell ur friends tell ur teacher you know why? Because fuck them you dont think ur just going to be embarrassed of ur stutter ur whole life stuttering is something that will follow u so dont try to avoid it because this will only make u upset. Accept ur stutter LET THEM accept it. And never ever feel like this subreddit will be tired of you because what u go threw like fr among all the people in the world WE are the only ones that know what u feel 100%. Yk when i first found this subreddit i was sad about my stutter kinda depressed lol when i found this sub i felt like o belong here lol and the memes got me into tears because i felt it. Hope u have a good day/night ur a legend
