Agree on a mid-sentence alert that you could use when you get interrupted mid-sentence. Something like just saying "mid-sentence!" or tapping your chest. So when the group hears your mid-sentence alert, the rule is they should stop and let you finish. If your group claims this rule is silly, ask them if they think blind people with white canes are silly too. The rule is people should move away from white cane's range.
