A few years ago I read an article that claimed stuttering could be linked to OCD. It said that getting blocked on a word was similar to an OCD sufferer getting stuck in a loop of turning on/off the lights or washing their hands over and over again. However, since then I became friends with someone who has mild-moderate OCD and I dont see myself having any other symptoms. So in my experience (non medical though) I dont think they are linked.
