As a speech pathologist who has an expertise in brain based teaching I spent years researching as to why I stutter and a fluent speaker doesn’t. I looked mainly at two different research papers. One was conducted by Martin Schwartz and the other by William Parry. I used the research to develop a program that catered to my specific needs. It actually worked where I became basically stutter free. I have yet to have a relapse. It has been life changing experience. Everyone has to find a pathway to fluency that works for them.
