Man feeling anxious lately and then having that happen really has the ability to push us down, I’m sorry you went through that. Now that I’m in my thirties, I started turning on the heat when people do things like that to me. Every single time they apologize and I feel how awkward it is for them. I don’t want to punish them but it’s inexcusable for grown adults 50+ to be doing that, and I’m not sorry. Now they’ll think before they do that to one of us again. If you have the courage, I strongly recommend being direct if someone does that to you again. The big one that shuts them down is “Sometimes I’m unable to speak, it’s neurological and there’s no cure.”
