I actually agree with this, even if I don’t really like admitting it. I’ve noticed that when I take something like Valium, my stutter almost disappears. That says a lot about how much anxiety plays into it. The problem is… it’s not a real solution. It comes with a lot of side effects and it’s not something you can rely on long term. So yeah, confidence and anxiety definitely play a role, but it’s not as simple as “just be more confident” either.
