I'm lucky I live in a tiny rural town where everyone already thinks I'm weird (my hair is blue, which is a step down from sorcery here on the bible belt). Sometimes I'll hear a friend comfortably engaging a stranger in conversation and it'll blow my damn mind. Like, how do they not spend all their time talking to everyone they've ever met?
